This session is a guide to improve communication and relationship building skills with clients, planners, and colleagues. The first section covers how to read people, including tips for avoiding noise and listening for true nature, finding client motivation, and understanding comfort zones. The next section covers the importance of a post-contract dinner, including where to go, what to discuss, and how to create a real-world bond with clients. We'll discuss how to understand the needs of the client for the wedding day, including who is attending, who are the important people, what are the important moments, and creating a specific family shot list. We'll discuss working with a client or planner to establish the most effective and efficient timeline for the day, including appropriate timing for getting ready through portraits, and how to communicate with a second shooter.
